The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has launched a 24-hour care service for children accompanying their parents on Hajj during the 1445H season.

In the 2024H pilgrimage season, children accompanying their parents to hajj will be taken care of by a 24/7 children care program provided by the Grand Mosque’s Affairs General Presidency.

The program provides an overnight stay, which allows children to remain comfortably and safely while their parents run their daily activities.

June 14, 2024, Makkah."The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has developed a 24-hour care service that includes overnight stays for youngsters who are traveling with their parents on the Hajj in the 1445H season. This service demonstrates the authority's commitment to providing pilgrims with comprehensive treatment. The General Authority has established special boarding rooms a short distance from the Grand Mosque, with a capacity to accommodate fifty children in total.

The intention is to give pilgrims' young dependents a secure and comfortable living space while enabling their parents to carry out their rituals without interference. Staffed by highly qualified individuals, the facilities are equipped with everything needed for relaxation, learning, entertainment, and well-being. From the third of Dhu al-Hijjah until the fourteenth of the same month, the facilities will be open to serve children aged one to eight years old as well as those between the ages of one and ten.

The centers are divided into three sections according to the age groups of the children: one area is for children aged one to three, two sections are for children aged four to six, and three sections are for children aged seven to ten. The centers' learning and play areas cater to the developmental characteristics of children. These sections also provide pedagogical and educational exercises, as well as stories about the Prophet's life and the holy landmarks throughout Makkah.
