Riyadh, October 05, 2023, Lieutenant General Mutlaq bin Salem Al-Azima, the commander of the Joint Forces and deputy chief of the general staff, hosted Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad, a former American representative to Afghanistan and counselor to the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) think tank, in his office today. The two parties enjoyed friendly discussions and covered a range of topics during the meeting, including Operation Restore Hope and the Kingdom's efforts to bring security and stability to the Republic of Yemen.
