The brand-new Lincoln Corsair has made its way to the Middle East with two magnificent new interior theme options, a redesigned exterior, and cutting-edge driving systems.
The Corsair has been created as a premium compact SUV to uphold Lincoln's promise of sanctuary, renewal, and wellbeing for both drivers and passengers.
First, there are changes to the Corsair's exterior, including a longer grille with a new waterfall pattern, a redesigned front fascia, and new wheels with wider, more dynamic-looking spokes. The wheels receive a distinctive monochromatic black finish thanks to the Jet Appearance Package, which also colors the grille, roof rack, and fender emblem in pillar black. Two new exterior colors for the Corsair are now available: Crystal Red and, in a first for Lincoln, Whisper Blue.
New Pixel headlamps that power a glare-free high beam have been added to the Corsair's headlights as well. The Corsair keeps its full-width horizontal LED taillamps, whose starburst design emphasizes the SUV's sleek appearance.
The new Corsair's interior is loaded with features that prioritize giving drivers and passengers a seamless, connected, and customized experience, just like every other Lincoln. The revised Lincoln CoPilot360 2.1, which delivers a package of technological capabilities aimed at keeping passengers safe, in control, and connected on their journey, is at the center of this.
The Corsair now has as standard equipment adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane centering, a blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert, and pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking (AEB). Corsair's AEB aids in the detection of pedestrians, readies the brakes in an emergency, supports the brakes in a collision, and issues warnings about impending forward collisions. Another standard Corsair feature is Intersection Assist, which employs a camera and radar to warn a motorist making a left turn of approaching traffic and instantly applies the brakes.
The Lane-Keeping System, meanwhile, uses assists, alerts, and road-edge recognition to help drivers stay in their lane and on the road. Parking the Corsair is now much simpler thanks to the available 360-degree camera, which works with front, side, and rear parking sensors as well as reverse brake assist.
With larger LCDs for drivers and passengers that feature an entirely new, Lincoln-specific digital interface that is fully programmable, the Corsair places the human at the core of its technology offering.
A new, larger 13.2-inch center screen with a searchable digital owner's manual is part of the SYNC4® infotainment system, which can recognize individual voices for hands-free management of an improved navigation operating system. A wireless phone connection that allows smooth Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity is also included with SYNC4®. The 12.3-inch driver's cluster displays Lincoln's distinctive Constellation interface, which perfectly complements the Corsair's ambient lighting design.
The second row's sliding and reclining seats in the Corsair make the interior feel more spacious than ever, providing backseat passengers with a sanctuary-like level of luxury. To expand the cargo space, the seats can also be shifted forward.
Every Lincoln's sense of sanctuary is significantly influenced by its interior design, and the new Corsair upholds this legacy with its two new interior themes, Smoked Truffle and Eternal Red. The two additional motifs are added to cashew, sandstone, and ebony. Each has been meticulously combined with a choice of ambient lighting that highlights the calm interior of the Corsair.
The new Corsair's heart is in its stunning design, luxurious interior, comfort, and human-centric technologies, but it's also in its driving experience. Thanks to a quick 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 250 HP and 373 Nm of torque, the new Corsair offers easy, fluid handling.
