Riyadh, September 12, 2023, Lt. Gen. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, the Gulf Cooperation Council's (GCC) Director of Public Security, headed the group from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the meeting. The gathering was held at the Riyadh headquarters of the GCC Secretariat. Al-Bassami welcomed everyone and wished them success in achieving the goals of the GCC leaders on behalf of the Interior Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz. They discussed topics of shared interest at the meeting, including monitoring the findings and suggestions of joint security committees and working to put them into action to improve GCC security.
