Luxury guests attend Blenheim Palace's Salon Privé, featuring Rolls-Royce Ghost

From August 30 to September 2, 2023, guests of luxury will assemble at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire for Salon Privé, one of the last summer events on the luxury calendar. In honor of this extremely private event, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will display the Ghost, the marque's most popular product in its illustrious 119-year history, and the Spectre, the world's first ultra-luxury all-electric super coupé.

  • The first all-electric super coupé from the brand, Spectre, will be on show there.

  • Ghost will also be included in the collection of automobiles.

  • On August 29, a Bespoke Ghost will guide a 120-mile Tour Privé in the Cotswolds.

"Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is excited to make another appearance at Salon Privé, which is located on the grounds of Oxfordshire's Blenheim Palace. This event is significant in our yearly calendar since it is a wonderful celebration of high society and luxury automobiles in a stunning, historic environment. I'm happy to announce that Spectre, the brand's first entirely electric vehicle, will be on display at the event. This groundbreaking vehicle is very agile, wonderfully silent, and emanates sophistication and cool modern luxury. A bright ghost, displayed in the exuberant color Tucana Purple, will be on show in addition to Spectre. At this extremely prestigious Concours d'Elégance, I am very much looking forward to meeting our dependable dealer partners, esteemed clientele, and media acquaintances.

These exquisite projects are all examples of the marque's broad range of design, engineering, and craft skills.

ROLLS-ROYCE SPECTRE

For the most prestigious luxury brand in the world, Spectre heralds the start of a daring all-electric era. Nearly two years ago, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars made a historic declaration reaffirming its commitment to electric technology: the company would introduce its first entirely electric vehicle in 2023, and by the end of 2030, the complete lineup of vehicles would be powered only by electricity. Since this historic announcement, Spectre has undergone an extraordinary trip, enduring a demanding testing program in harsh environments and temperatures over a distance of 2.5 million kilometers, simulating use for more than 400 years. Following its global debut in California earlier this summer, Spectre has also gotten overwhelmingly excellent reviews from the media throughout the world.

The Spectre will be displayed at this year's Salon Privé in a striking rendition of Wittering Blue with a brilliant Mandarin Coachline, illuminating the modern but opulent essence that resides at the very core of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Opening the doors reveals a Charles Blue interior with Mandarin applied to the seat piping and monogrammed headrests as an accent.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is happy to announce that a second Spectre will be on show during the event in addition to the Wittering Blue Spectre that will take pride of place front and center of the exhibit. A wonderfully elegant and striking commission completed in Chartreuse, Black Diamond, and Grace White will join the daily procession around Blenheim Palace's gardens, together with a cozy and tranquil cabin finished in Chartreuse, Grace White, and Peony Pink.

ROLLS-ROYCE GHOST

The Ghost is a genuine automotive marvel and a window into a world of limitless possibilities. It is constructed using the brand's exclusive Architecture of Luxury all-aluminum spaceframe. Tucana Purple, a shade evocative of the southern night sky that envelops the Tucana constellation, is the finish chosen by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars for its Salon Privé Ghost model. The façade is boldly resolved by a contrasting and eye-catching lime green coachline and lime green pinstripe tires. The interior's lime green accents, such as the seat piping, steering wheel, embroidered headrests, and arm rests, match the color of the exterior.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is pleased to announce that a second Ghost will gracefully lead the Tour Privé, a rolling 120-mile concours through the Cotswolds, in addition to the Tucana Purple Ghost that will be on display. This honor is indicative of the tremendous stature of this motor car.
