Madinah Book Fair 2024 Concludes its Activities with Attendance of Approximately 170,000 Visitors

The third edition of the Madinah Book Fair was successfully concluded at the King Salman International Convention and Exhibition Center from July 30th to August 5th, 2024.

From July 30 to August 5, 2024, the King Salman International Convention and Exhibition Center hosted the third iteration of the Madinah Book Fair, which was successfully ended.


The exhibition featured more than 200 exhibitors and over 300 publishing enterprises, as well as local, Arab, and international agencies.


Over 170,000 people attended the show, a 22% increase in attendance from the previous edition. Attendees included families, book enthusiasts, and students.



"Madinah, August 9, 2024." The third Madinah Book Fair was successfully concluded by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission. It took place at the King Salman International Convention and Exhibition Center from July 30 to August 5.The expo had over two hundred booths from local, Arab, and worldwide agencies in addition to over three hundred publishing enterprises. The expo drew approximately 170,000 visitors from within and outside the Madinah region, a 22% increase from the year before.This year's fair was held over the summer break, which attracted a sizable crowd of individuals who are primarily book enthusiasts, families, and students. The event had an extensive cultural program that showcased the latest research in science, literature, cognitive science, and Islamic studies.The Madinah Book Fair 2024 is being organized by the Commission, which is presenting a refreshed image and unique character that corresponds with the most recent developments in the publishing sector. Building on the success of the previous two seasons, this project emphasizes Madinah's unique relevance in the context of Saudi Arabia's cultural landscape.A strategic program called "Book Fairs" seeks to enhance the publishing sector, increase cultural and cognitive awareness in society, enhance quality of life, and support economic growth at the federal, state, and local levels. These aims are in line with the National Strategy for Culture's objectives according to the Saudi Vision 2030. This initiative includes the fair.
