Madinah, April 1, 2025 – The residents of Madinah are celebrating Eid Al-Fitr with a lively showcase of traditional customs, fostering a sense of community and unity. The festive preparations, filled with excitement, began long before the occasion. On the eve of Eid, the city came alive with the ceremonial firing of 21 artillery rounds, adding to the festive atmosphere alongside the joyful chatter of children. Adults busied themselves with preparing traditional sweets, while children celebrated with songs and dances. On Eid morning, families gathered for the Eid prayer, followed by visits to elderly relatives, exchanging greetings and sharing communal meals. Children excitedly went on their Eidiya rounds, singing special songs and participating in the region’s festive events, creating lasting memories.
