Madinah Ministry intensifies Ramadan services for visitors and mosque patrons

Madinah, April 05, 2024, During the holy month of Ramadan, the Madinah branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has intensified its efforts to cater to visitors to the city and the revered Prophet's Mosque.

As part of these efforts, the ministry ensured that mosques and prayer halls in Madinah were meticulously maintained and well-equipped with essential supplies. This included providing cleaning equipment, ensuring optimal air conditioning, furnishing prayer areas with comfortable seating, and ensuring an ample supply of copies of the Quran for worshippers.

In collaboration with local community groups, the branch also organized and hosted 23 daily iftar banquets throughout Ramadan. These iftar gatherings served a diverse community of over 85,000 residents hailing from various nationalities, fostering a sense of unity and solidarity among attendees. The ministry plans to continue these iftar banquets until the conclusion of the holy month.

Moreover, the ministry took proactive measures to educate and engage the community by organizing more than 400 awareness campaigns. These campaigns encompassed a range of activities, including lectures, seminars, and religious lessons held at different mosques across the region. The overarching goal of these initiatives was to enhance understanding, foster communication, and deepen spiritual connections among Muslims during the sacred month of Ramadan.

Through its comprehensive approach and collaborative endeavors, the Madinah branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to providing exemplary services and facilitating meaningful experiences for worshippers and visitors during Ramadan in Madinah.
