Madinah police address viral video of woman attacking officer.

MADINAH March 29, 2025 — The Madinah Region Police confirmed that authorities promptly responded to a widely circulated video showing a woman assaulting a security officer while he was on duty.

The incident took place in the courtyards of the Prophet's Mosque when the woman attempted to pass through a restricted walkway. After being advised by the officer to take an authorized route, she refused to comply and proceeded to slap him.

In a statement issued Saturday, police confirmed that the situation was immediately addressed on-site and that all necessary legal procedures were completed in accordance with regulations.
