Madinah, Mar 7, 2024, The Madinah Region Development Authority (MRDA) actively participated in the International Tourism Trade Fair 2024 (ITB Berlin), held in Berlin, Germany, from March 5 to 7, 2024. The primary objective of MRDA's participation was to showcase Madinah's historical identity, highlight its tourism potential, and present investment opportunities within the region.
The MRDA's pavilion at ITB Berlin featured informative displays about Madinah, emphasizing its historical significance, including the mountains associated with the biography of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and prominent archaeological sites. The pavilion also focused on the civil script and its historical legacy. Visitors were welcomed with traditional Arabic coffee, and the MRDA staff adorned in Hijazi dress added a cultural touch to the exhibition.
