Madinah's historical sites are praised by visitors to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Umrah as a cultural and civilizational legacy.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visitation, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, provides guests with cultural programs highlighting key historical sites in Madinah related to the Prophet Muhammad's life, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s role in preserving Islamic heritage.

Madinah, December 23, 2024 – Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visitation have expressed high praise for the cultural and educational initiatives organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. These programs are designed to provide visitors with a comprehensive understanding of the profound historical and spiritual significance of Madinah, with a particular focus on sites associated with the life and legacy of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The carefully curated experiences aim to connect pilgrims and visitors with the deep cultural and religious heritage of Islam, offering them unique opportunities to engage with key landmarks in the city that reflect the very foundations of Islamic history.


During their visits, several guests emphasized the meticulous efforts taken by Saudi Arabia to ensure that these historical sites are not only accessible but also preserved with the utmost care and respect for their spiritual and cultural importance. The visitors noted that the Kingdom’s dedication to maintaining these sites is evident in the high standards of safety, accessibility, and preservation, allowing pilgrims to fully immerse themselves in the significance of these locations. They also expressed their admiration for Saudi Arabia’s role in promoting the message of Islam—one of peace, tolerance, and mutual respect—while providing a deepened appreciation of Islam's rich historical and spiritual legacy.


The second group of guests for this year’s program consisted of 250 pilgrims hailing from 14 European countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Austria, Montenegro, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and Sweden. These individuals expressed their heartfelt gratitude for being granted the opportunity to visit Madinah’s sacred sites, describing the experience as both spiritually enriching and culturally enlightening. The visits were tailored to allow guests to explore key historical landmarks such as the Prophet’s Mosque and the various sites associated with the early days of Islam, providing them with a deeper connection to the faith and its beginnings.


The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visitation continues to serve as a testament to Saudi Arabia's central role in supporting Muslims worldwide.
