Makkah, February 5, 2025 – The 10th International Holy Quran Competition for Military Personnel, organized by the General Administration for Religious Affairs of the Armed Forces, is currently underway in Makkah, attracting 179 participants from 32 countries. As one of the most prestigious and largest events of its kind, the competition has gained global attention, drawing contestants from diverse military backgrounds who have gathered to showcase their proficiency in Quranic memorization, recitation, and perfection.
Maj. Gen. Dr. Misfer Al-Issa, Director-General of the General Administration for Religious Affairs and Supervisor-General of the competition, emphasized the scale and significance of this edition, noting its unprecedented international participation. He highlighted the rigorous competition, which has seen military personnel displaying extraordinary skills in the meticulous art of Quranic recitation, while adhering to the highest standards of memorization and flawless delivery.
