RIYADH, March 28, 2025 — Deputy Emir of Makkah, Prince Saud bin Mishaal, chaired a meeting of the Central Hajj Committee on Wednesday to review the plans of various agencies for the remaining days of Ramadan, particularly the conclusion of the Holy Qur'an recitation (Khatm Al-Qur'an) on the 29th night at the Grand Mosque. This follows the directives of Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Emir of Makkah Region, and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal.


During the meeting, Prince Saud conveyed Prince Khaled Al-Faisal’s greetings to officials and agency employees for their efforts in ensuring pilgrims can perform their rituals with ease and comfort. He emphasized the importance of unified efforts to meet the leadership's expectations.


The deputy emir received a briefing on the agencies’ work, including crowd management strategies to ensure the safety of worshipers and pilgrims, traffic management plans, and the readiness of public transportation stations.


The committee also discussed the latest developments regarding the plans and preparations for Hajj 2025, reviewing several other topics and making the necessary recommendations.
