Makkah, March 23, 2025 – A surgical team at Al Noor Specialist Hospital, part of the Makkah Health Cluster, successfully removed a large tumor from a female Umrah performer's head. The tumor, over 7 cm in size and weighing more than 400 grams, required urgent intervention due to its severity.

The 10-hour surgery resulted in the complete removal of the tumor, followed by reconstruction using a custom-designed, biocompatible 3D-printed titanium frame to restore facial structure and function.

The patient, now stable, has been moved from intensive care to a regular ward and continues to receive treatment at the hospital.
