Malaysia Arabic Month: The King Salman Global Arabic Language Academy (KSGAAL) of Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the Islamic University College of Kedah and the National University of Malaysia, launched the Arabic Month program in Malaysia from January 1 to 29, 2025, aimed at promoting Arabic language education.

Riyadh, January 4, 2025—The King Salman Global Arabic Language Academy (KSGAAL) launched the highly anticipated Arabic Month event in Malaysia, which will be held from January 1 to 29, 2025. This initiative is part of the academy's extensive global program, aimed at promoting Arabic language education and providing academic support to learners worldwide. As a core element of Saudi Arabia's cultural diplomacy and a commitment to the protection and global dissemination of the Arabic language, this initiative is a key pillar in the kingdom's efforts to enhance the role of Arabic in international academic and cultural exchanges.

The Arabic Month activities in Malaysia are being conducted in collaboration with the Islamic University College of Perlis and the National University of Malaysia (UKM), marking an important partnership between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia to promote greater understanding and proficiency in the Arabic language. The program is expected to attract a wide range of Arabic language learners, educators, and scholars, offering various activities and events designed to challenge and inspire participants.

A key component of the Arabic Month program includes academic seminars aimed at deepening participants' understanding of the Arabic language, its literature, and its significance in global cultural and academic fields. In addition, advanced teacher training courses will be offered to educators, helping them master the latest teaching tools and strategies to improve their teaching methods. Another highlight of the program is the Hamza Test, a standardized Arabic proficiency exam used to assess learners' command of the language.

In order to stimulate creativity and encourage active participation, the program also includes a science competition, challenging learners to apply their language skills in innovative and practical ways. This competition is not only aimed at engaging students in meaningful learning but also at fostering friendship and a spirit of cooperation among Arabic language enthusiasts from different backgrounds.

The Arabic Language Month activities have achieved significant success in countries around the world, including Uzbekistan, Indonesia, China, India, France, Brazil, and Thailand. By engaging with learners from these different regions, the program has significantly strengthened the presence of Arabic globally and provided a unique platform for cultural exchange and academic growth. These international efforts align with KSGAAL's mission to promote Arabic as a global language of knowledge, culture, and communication.

The Malaysia project is just a part of the global effort to enhance Arabic language education. Through interactions with universities, educational institutions, and local communities, the King Salman Global Arabic Language Center in Saudi Arabia continues to make significant strides in ensuring the thriving of the Arabic language on the world stage, fostering an appreciation for its rich linguistic heritage and extensive cultural contributions. Through these educational initiatives, the academy plays a key role in shaping the future of Arabic language studies, promoting academic excellence, and strengthening international relations through shared educational experiences.

This initiative reaffirms Saudi Arabia's commitment to supporting global language education and promotes its cultural goals aligned with Vision 2030, highlighting the kingdom's leadership in cultural diplomacy and its relentless efforts to promote the Arabic language worldwide.
