Riyadh, March 22, 2025 – Manga Productions, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation "Misk," has signed a new strategic partnership with Sela, a company involved in entertainment, sports, culture, and tourism. This collaboration aims to strengthen ties with prominent Japanese companies and create opportunities for their involvement in Riyadh Season, one of the largest entertainment events globally.
The partnership seeks to attract top Japanese entertainment and cultural companies, enabling them to engage with Saudi and international audiences through unique events and experiences never before seen in the Kingdom. Manga Productions will help bring renowned Japanese brands to the Saudi market by showcasing their industries and facilitating new collaborative opportunities.
This partnership builds on the previous success between Manga Productions and Sela, which included unveiling the iconic 33-meter "Grendizer" statue that set a Guinness World Record during Riyadh Season 2022. This year, Manga Productions has also announced its official sponsorship of Anime Japan 2025, a leading event in the anime and creative industries. Manga Productions will participate in the public days on March 22-23 and the business days on March 24-25, where its booth will aim to attract investment from Japanese companies.
Manga Productions continues to support Saudi Arabia’s growth as a key global entertainment hub, bringing the latest Japanese entertainment innovations to the Kingdom and contributing to Vision 2030’s goal of developing the creative content industry.
