A seven-day training on \"Sustainable Waste Management\" held in Makkah under the auspices of the National Waste Management Center \"Mawan\" before the Hajj season commences in 1445 AH, wraps up in Jeddah on June 4, 2024. Among many things, the topics addressed in this seven-day workshop include raising awareness of environmental issues, promoting responsible behavior among pilgrims and appropriate authorities, introducing various types of waste and how to manage them, and urging a need to learn how to adopt behaviors that reduce pollution and preserve the environment.
