March 31, 2025 — Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with Lebanon’s Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Sunday at Al-Safa Palace in Mecca, where they discussed Saudi-Lebanese relations, regional developments, and ongoing efforts to address key issues.
This was Salam’s first official visit to Saudi Arabia since forming a new government last month. Earlier, both leaders performed Eid al-Fitr prayers together at the Grand Mosque.
Salam’s office later expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its efforts in managing the Syria-Lebanon border and resolving disputes between the two countries. This follows recent talks and a security agreement signed by Lebanese and Syrian defense ministers in Jeddah to address border threats.
