Riyadh, February 19, 2024, The Minister of Media, Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, officially inaugurated the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX) today, marking the commencement of the third Saudi Media Forum. The event is organized by the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) in collaboration with the Saudi Journalists Association and is taking place in Riyadh.
The inaugural ceremony witnessed the presence of key figures, including the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah Al-Swaha, the Vice Minister of Media Dr. Abdullah Al-Maghlouth, the President of the Saudi Media Forum and CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, Mohammed Al-Harthi, along with several other officials.
FOMEX, recognized as the largest specialized media exhibition in the Middle East, will host over 200 local and international companies for three days. The exhibition aims to showcase the latest technical, creative, and innovative aspects across all media-related domains.
This third edition of FOMEX provides a platform for exhibitors and participants to establish successful partnerships contributing to the development of the media business both locally and internationally. It emphasizes showcasing the latest media experiences of companies, incorporating leading global expertise, activating modern television and radio production activities, and staying abreast of the rapid changes in the sector.
The official sessions of the 3rd Saudi Media Forum are scheduled to commence on February 20. The forum will bring together leaders, decision-makers, and innovators from around the world through 60 panel discussions and workshops presented by 150 speakers. These industry leaders, specialists, and practitioners from various countries will engage in discussions covering 80 topics, fostering an exchange of insights and ideas in the rapidly evolving media landscape.
