Riyadh, November 09, 2023, The Ministry of Media is hosting the fourth installment of Media Oasis in Diriyah, Riyadh, coinciding with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's pivotal role in hosting three significant summits: The Saudi-African Summit, the Extraordinary Arab Summit, and the Extraordinary Islamic Summit.
Spanning an expansive 18,000 square meters, the Media Oasis showcases over 30 major national transformational projects, including the groundbreaking NEOM initiative, spread across six pavilions that spotlight the developmental accomplishments of these ventures.
The event is a collaborative effort involving various entities such as the Ministry of Sports, the Royal Commission for AlUla Governorate, the Asir Region Development Authority, the Diriyah Company, the Saudi Fund for Development, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, the Saudi Export and Import (EXIM) Bank, the Sports Boulevard Project, the Konoz Initiative, the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (TRITA), and Jahez Company.
The Media Oasis features seven distinct zones, including the Welcome Zone, Saudi Hospitality, Communication, Oasis Valley, Cultural Bridge, and Oasis Suites and Theater. This purpose-built environment offers state-of-the-art technology for media professionals to cover the three summits interactively, enhancing the media impact of associated initiatives and announcements across local and international platforms.
Anticipating over 2,000 visitors, including officials from various Arab, African, and Islamic nations, as well as more than 250 media representatives from participating countries, this marks the fourth edition of Media Oasis organized by the Ministry of Media in less than a year, following two local and one international edition.
