Cairo, February 05, 2024, The Minister of Media, Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, embarked on discussions aimed at enhancing collaborative media endeavors between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt during his official visit to Egypt, accompanied by several senior officials. The meeting took place in the New Administrative Capital, where Al-Dosari received a warm welcome from the Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Naqli.
Dr. Madbouly emphasized that the meeting falls within the broader framework of reinforcing structures of mutual cooperation. The Egyptian Prime Minister highlighted that it represents a tangible manifestation of the shared commitment of both the Kingdom and Egypt to fortify relations across diverse domains. He underscored that collaboration and coordination in various sectors are reflective of the strong and close ties between the leaderships of the two nations.
Concurrently, the Media Minister, echoing the directives of the wise leadership, stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to cultivate collaborative relations in the media sector between the Kingdom and Egypt. Al-Dosari emphasized that this initiative aims to align with the distinctiveness and harmony evident in political relations at the highest levels. He further highlighted the resilience of Saudi-Egyptian relations and the crucial role of media in articulating the bonds between the two countries, emphasizing the continuity of relations, cooperation, and coordination at all levels.
During his visit, Al-Dosari convened with a select group of Egypt’s media leaders in response to an invitation from the Head of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, Karam Gabr. The meeting explored various ideas and projects geared towards augmenting existing media cooperation between the Kingdom and Egypt across different levels. This collaborative effort seeks to deepen the ties and enhance the exchange of information and perspectives between the two nations in the realm of media.
