Yanbu, November 06, 2023, The Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, conducted an inspection tour of the "Environment system" in Yanbu Governorate, situated in the Madinah region. During his visit, the minister closely monitored the progress of various projects and received updates on the services provided to the residents of the governorate. Accompanied by ministry leaders and officials, Eng. Al-Fadhli initiated his tour by engaging with citizens, farmers, and fishermen at the Yanbu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YNBCCI). He attentively addressed their requests and inquiries about the ministry's services, emphasizing his commitment to supporting development projects that offer environmental, water, and agricultural services to the citizens. He also expressed his determination to align with the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030. Eng. Al-Fadhli was briefed on the operations of the floating water barges in Yanbu, which play a crucial role in meeting the water demand. Saudi Arabia possesses three enormous barges, recognized as the largest globally, with a combined daily production capacity of 150,000 cubic meters. The minister engaged in discussions with leaders from the "Environment system" and examined the significant achievements at the governorate level. They explored opportunities for further development and presented strategies for the environment, water, and agriculture sectors, all in alignment with the objectives of sustainable development and the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.
