Riyadh, May 14, 2024, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdul Rahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli opened the third annual Middle East Poultry Exhibition, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Spurred by a wide international participation exceeding 75%, the three-day event attracted more than 100 elite international experts in the poultry, fodder, and animal nutrition sectors, and about 300 companies from 40 countries around the world in addition to a large turnout of visitors.

The exhibition, which is held under the slogan "Maximizing value and reducing costs: Value engineering in the poultry industry," was designed to enhance the use of modern technologies, through showcasing more than 800 products involved in the supply chains of the poultry industry by the leading international companies in the sector. This is in addition to exchanging experiences and practices in the poultry industry and related industries and reviewing investment opportunities in the poultry sector to contribute to increasing gross domestic product (GDP), in an effort to achieve the goals of the National Food Security Strategy.

The poultry sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in the Kingdom, due to the great support provided through government facilities for poultry projects and raising the rate of investment in cooperation with the private sector. The Kingdom applies the highest standards and good agricultural practices in the poultry sector to ensure the safety and quality of production during all stages of supply chains.
