Minister Al-Fadley Evaluates Agriculture, Water, and Environment Sector Preparedness for Hajj 1445

The 26th of May, 2024, Riyadb. Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, conducted an inspection tour. The visit was to assess the readiness of the environment, water, and agriculture systems to offer services to the pilgrims during the 1445 AH Hajj season. He examined the executive plans for the functioning of the operating process at the monitoring and control center.


During the visit to Makkah and the holy sites, he studied the projects being implemented by the National Water Company concerning water and environmental infrastructure. Among these were the projects for constructing water and sewage network lines and the construction projects for water supply. After the visit, Al-Fadley held a meeting to discuss the current status of the implementation stages of projects that have already been in place and the latest developments in the implementation of further future water and environment projects in Makkah and the holy sites.


Al-Fadley also discussed the importance of the National Work Committee tasks and the plans and programs it has developed since the beginning of the year to be prepared for the Hajj season of this year, which will witness the mobilization of capable national teams and innovative technology. He urged that everyone should double their efforts and use all their energies to improve the services provided to the pilgrims, in light of the recommendations of the wise leadership, so that the pilgrims can perform the rituals in an easy and convenient way.
