Minister Al-Jasser highlights SAUDIA's new visual identity and promising future

Jeddah, October 1, 2023, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, has emphasized the significance of Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) launching a new visual identity, rooted in its rich history while moving forward into a promising future.

Speaking during the unveiling ceremony of SAUDIA's new visual identity at the airline's headquarters, Al-Jasser expressed his pleasure at witnessing a new chapter in SAUDIA's history. He noted that this era, under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince His Royal Highness, has seen a range of programs and strategies, including the National Transport and Logistics Strategy. This strategy encompasses the Aviation Sector Strategy, aimed at transforming the Kingdom into a global air transport hub.

Al-Jasser outlined that this transformation would be achieved through the development of two primary aviation hubs, with King Abdulaziz International Airport being a central focus. SAUDIA, with its revamped structure, distinctive appearance, enhanced services, unique technical solutions, and the incorporation of artificial intelligence as a regional pioneer, is poised to compete on a global scale and provide travelers with a unique experience.

Furthermore, Al-Jasser highlighted that advancements in the aviation sector, such as the establishment of Riyadh Air as the national carrier connecting the capital to global destinations, will complement various other strategies and projects. These encompass Hajj, Umrah, tourism, entertainment, sports, and quality-of-life improvements, all contributing significantly to the ongoing national transformations within the Kingdom.

He pointed out that the new SAUDIA identity embodies Saudi culture, reflecting the Kingdom's ancient and captivating heritage, while also drawing inspiration from SAUDIA's illustrious history.

Al-Jasser stressed the importance of collaboration between SAUDIA, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services in developing services that represent the Saudi national identity and distinguish Saudi airlines in the global arena.
