Riyadh, October 31, 2023, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services and Chairman of Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation's Board of Directors, provided sponsorship for the 56th Annual General Meeting of the Arab Air Carriers' Organization (AACO) hosted by Saudia in Riyadh. The meeting's agenda includes discussions on strengthening the regional aviation sector, with a focus on digital transformation, sustainability, and alignment with international aviation industry objectives.
Key figures in attendance were Engr. Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, the Director General of Saudia Group and Chairman of the AACO's Executive Committee, Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), and AACO Secretary General Abdul Wahab Teffaha.
Minister Al-Jasser highlighted the Kingdom's aviation sector's remarkable growth and performance, thanks to the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS) initiated by HRH the Crown Prince. He expressed his support for AACO's initiatives, particularly those related to digital transformation, sustainability, and ensuring the highest safety standards to enhance the passenger experience and meet their expectations.
