Riyadh, October 24, 2023, In a dialogue session at the Saudi-European Investment Forum, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef highlighted Saudi Arabia's appeal to European and global investors. The nation's strong infrastructure, transparency, and strategic geographical location were underscored as key factors.
Within this context, Al-Khorayef emphasized the three pivotal pillars of the mining strategy. The first focuses on drawing insights from global mining experiences to create positive economic and social impacts. The second axis underscores the commitment to align mining with industry, harnessing the country's abundant mineral resources for both economic and social benefits.
The minister also highlighted the significance of the upcoming Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh in January. This event, now in its third edition, is poised to feature discussions involving both the supply and demand sides of commonly used minerals, particularly in the context of global trends toward clean energy.
