Riyadh, August 29, 2023, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef visited the Turkish Aerospace Inc. (TUSA) and Aselsan Defense Electronics plants in Ankara. As he toured the plants, taking in their production lines and working processes, the minister was briefed on the greatest accomplishments made by Turkish businesses as well as the technology employed in the defense electronics and aerospace industries. Al-Khorayef's visit to the companies was intended to explore industry-specific collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Turkey in line with the goals of the National Strategy for Industry. The minister also spoke with representatives from the factories about enhancing bilateral collaboration and exchanging business insights, elucidating the Kingdom's goals for advancing the industrial sector. Al-Khorayef also emphasized the benefits the Kingdom offers to entice high-quality investments in the industrial sector, noting that the National Strategy for Industry, which focuses on 12 industries, offers investment opportunities worth close to a trillion Saudi Riyals.
