Riyadh, August 28, 2023, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, minister of industry and mineral resources, traveled to Turkey on official business. He met with a number of ministries and government representatives during his visit, as well as two investors in Ankara and Istanbul. Alparslan Bayraktar, the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, and Minister Al-Khorayef met in Ankara. They had conversations about a range of subjects of interest, with an emphasis on the mining and industrial sectors. The ministers also looked into ways to broaden the scope of their joint initiatives while reiterating the significance of Saudi Arabia and Turkey's cooperation. Al-Khorayef also had a meeting with Dr. Mer Polat, the Turkish Minister of Trade. In order to meet the aspirations of both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Turkiye, the ministers discussed ways to strengthen the economic connections between the two nations.
