Minister Al-Rabiah visits UAE to highlight Kingdom's pilgrim service efforts

Jeddah, February 12, 2024, Today marks the commencement of Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah's official visit to the United Arab Emirates, forming part of his international tours aimed at showcasing the Kingdom's commitment to serving pilgrims and Umrah performers.

These tours serve a dual purpose: to underscore the enhancements in procedures and services and to review forthcoming plans for hosting pilgrims and Umrah performers, aligning with the objectives outlined in Saudi Vision 2030. During his stay, the minister is slated to engage in several meetings with UAE officials and entities specializing in Hajj and Umrah services. Discussions will center on fostering coordination and collaboration to streamline the arrival process for pilgrims and Umrah performers from UAE citizens and residents.

Additionally, the visit will feature an introductory meeting and a parallel exhibition showcasing the unified government platform 'Nusuk.' This platform, dedicated to serving pilgrims to Makkah and Madinah, will be highlighted to elucidate the facilitations available and the advantages it offers to pilgrims and visitors alike.

Accompanying the minister on this diplomatic venture is a distinguished delegation comprising leaders from the ministry, partners in the Hajj and Umrah system, representatives from the private sector, and pertinent stakeholders.
