Riyadh, March 04, 2024, The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, unveiled several digital products and services during his visit to the Saudi Digital Pavilion at the LEAP 2024 technological conference. The launches aim to enhance digital transformation within the ministry and streamline services for beneficiaries.
The newly launched digital tools include features supporting the social rehabilitation and guidance platform. These encompass the family guidance system, family guidance services and consultations, and access to family counselors through professional specialists. Additionally, the launches covered the social specializations system, responsible for issuing and managing licenses for social specialists and accrediting their professional classification. The family protection system was also introduced to facilitate the registration and monitoring of reported cases and incidents in collaboration with relevant security authorities, ensuring the privacy and safety of beneficiaries.
These services aim to establish an e-directory for family guidance centers and counselors, complete with evaluations from beneficiaries. They further support social qualification holders through e-services for issuing and managing licenses, expediting the handling of family protection reports.
The minister also inaugurated the "empowerment service" on the social support and protection platform, designed to empower and qualify social security beneficiaries capable of working. This involves providing tailored training based on their educational qualifications and special skills. The platform, benefiting over 100,000 young men and women in 2023, offers training opportunities to enhance cognitive skills, aligning with labor market requirements and supporting startups and small projects to improve the social and economic status of social security beneficiaries.
Al-Rajhi emphasized the ministry's digital transformation journey initiated four years ago, aiming to reduce beneficiaries' visits to ministry branches and serve them remotely. He highlighted the significant progress made, with over 1,000 automated digital services constituting around 80% of total services. The minister expressed aspirations to launch 300 new automated services by the end of 2024. The Ministry's participation at LEAP 24 reflects its commitment to developing services for beneficiaries and showcasing its digital services and products.
