Riyadh, February 05, 2024, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, officially inaugurated the Industry and Mining System Pavilion at the World Defense Show in Riyadh on Sunday. The exhibition, running from February 4 to 8, is dedicated to showcasing the ongoing transformations in the Kingdom's industrial and mining sectors.
The pavilion serves as a platform to highlight the progress and advancements in Saudi Arabia's industry and mining landscape. Its primary objectives include promoting investment opportunities within these sectors and providing crucial data and information to global investors interested in contributing to the Kingdom's industrial and mining growth.
Representatives from various Saudi authorities are featured in the pavilion, including the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Saudi Export Development Authority, the Saudi Geological Survey, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, the Saudi EXIM Bank, the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information, the National Industrial Development Center, and the Saudi Mining Services Company ESNAD.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs, Eng. Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salamah, alongside several officials from the industry and mining sector. The World Defense Show 2024 aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to localize over 50% of the country's military and security expenditure by 2030. This strategic milestone is expected to drive the growth of the military industries sector, creating significant employment opportunities for Saudi citizens.
