Davos, January 18, 2024, During his second day in Davos, Switzerland, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef, engaged in meetings with presidents and leaders of prominent global industrial companies as part of the Saudi Arabian delegation's participation in the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) held from January 15 to 19.
Among the notable figures Alkhorayef met were Jai Shroff, Chairman and Group CEO of UPL Limited; Dr. Richard Hatchett, CEO of CEPI; Neeraj Kanwar, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Apollo Tyres Ltd.; Sri Prakash Lohia, Board Chairman of Indorama Ventures; and Kisun Chung, Vice Chairman of HD Hyundai.
The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and these influential industrial entities. Alkhorayef underscored the investment opportunities available, the Kingdom's efforts to attract foreign investments, and the strategic goal of increasing non-oil exports to Europe.
