The gathering took place as a part of the 9th Conference of Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministers in Makkah.
The conference's ideas and experiences were well received by the Iranian delegation.

Hadi Sayed Khamoshi, the chairman of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Endowments and Charitable Affairs Organization, met with Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawa, and Guidance, today. The Iranian team, headed by Khamoshi, is in Makkah for the 9th Conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, which concluded today.
People engaged in courteous discourse about a variety of issues of mutual interest, including Islamic problems, during the meeting.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, received congratulations from Khamoshi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Khamoshi attended the conference as well.
At the conference, which brought together ministers of endowments and Islamic affairs from Muslim World League member states, Khamoshi appreciated the concepts and experiences that were shared.
