Riyadh, October 11, 2023, Salman Al-Dosari, the Minister of Media, hosted the president and members of the General Secretariat of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA) at his Riyadh office. During their meeting, Al-Dosari emphasized the vital role played by national news agencies in delivering reliable and accurate news coverage, both domestically and internationally, in an age dominated by misinformation in the media.
He stressed the importance of strengthening coordination and enhancing the functions of Arab news agencies while leveraging diverse media platforms to ensure broader reach for their messages.
The members of FANA's General Secretariat expressed their appreciation to Al-Dosari for his warm welcome and for fostering opportunities to support the development of Arab media. They also commended Saudi Arabia's remarkable progress and its emergence as a global influencer and a host for significant international events on various fronts.
