Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), officially launched the unified national employment platform, Jadarat, today. This new digital platform is designed to support the ministry’s mission to empower Saudi talent and enhance its competitiveness in the labor market.
Platform Overview: Jadarat was established following a Cabinet decision to create a centralized platform for managing job seekers' data across both public and private sectors. Managed by HRDF, Jadarat aims to improve data quality, streamline employment processes, and facilitate job access. This initiative is in line with the broader goals of digital transformation and Saudi Vision 2030, reflecting a commitment to modernizing and enhancing the efficiency of the employment sector.
Achievements and Impact: Minister Al-Rajhi emphasized the Saudi leadership’s continuous support in developing human capital. He highlighted the platform’s role in the notable progress within the Saudi labor market, including a reduction in the unemployment rate to 7.6% and an increase in Saudi workers in the private sector to approximately 2.3 million. Al-Rajhi also praised HRDF for its substantial contributions, noting that the fund spent over SAR 3.79 billion in the first half of the year on various employment, training, and qualification programs, benefiting more than 100,000 establishments. Additionally, over 153,000 young Saudis were employed in the private sector during the same period, reflecting HRDF’s effective support in fostering a stable work environment.
