On October 30, 2024, in Riyadh, Adel Al-Jubeir, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy, engaged in significant discussions with Jean-Yves Le Drian, the French President's Special Envoy for Lebanon. This meeting took place during the 8th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII8) Conference, a prominent event that gathers global leaders and influential figures to explore investment opportunities and address pressing international issues.


The dialogue between Al-Jubeir and Le Drian focused primarily on the evolving political and socio-economic landscape in Lebanon. Both officials acknowledged the complex challenges facing the nation and the importance of collaborative efforts to foster stability and progress.
