Riyadh, October 15, 2024 – Saudi Arabia's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy, His Excellency Adel Al-Jubeir, held a significant meeting with Barbara Pompili, the French President's Special Envoy for the One Water Summit. The meeting, which took place in Riyadh, focused on exploring areas of mutual cooperation between Saudi Arabia and France in addressing global water resource challenges.
One of the central topics of discussion was Saudi Arabia’s active role in water conservation, including the Kingdom's recent establishment of the World Water Organization. This organization aims to provide a global platform for collaborative efforts to tackle water-related challenges, such as water scarcity, pollution, and sustainable water management.
