Minister of Transport and Logistics Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser today visited Nokia's headquarters
Helsinki, May 14, 2024, Minister of Transport and Logistics Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser today visited Nokia's headquarters in the Republic of Finland. He was accompanied by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Finland, Nisreen bint Hamad Al-Shibel, and their delegation.
During the visit, the minister was given a visual presentation about the headquarters' establishment, its product development, and the diversity of its projects. He learned about Nokia's significant projects in the field of transport and logistics, the technologies used, and the logistical procedures applied to provide technical solutions to service providers and beneficiaries.
The visit included a showcase of Nokia's prominent projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the close relationship between Nokia and the Kingdom. Additionally, the latest technologies being tested before implementation and application on the ground were highlighted.
Al-Jasser emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and knowledge with Nokia in the field of modern technologies, which encompass investment opportunities in various means of transport and logistics. He also highlighted the significance of technology and innovation in developing the transport and logistics sector and expressed his anticipation of strengthening the relationship with new development projects.
Following the presentation, Al-Jasser toured the headquarters and its facilities.
