Addis Ababa, October 02, 2023, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance recently held the inaugural closing ceremony of the Holy Quran Competition in Addis Ababa, the capital of the Republic of Ethiopia. This significant event was meticulously organized by the ministry in collaboration with the Saudi Embassy in Ethiopia and in partnership with the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council (EIASC).
During this ceremony, a total of twenty-five winners across various categories of the competition received well-deserved recognition. Among the esteemed attendees were Dr. Hajji Ibrahim Tufa, the President of the EIASC, and Dr. Fahd bin Obaidullah Al-Humaidani, the Saudi Ambassador to Ethiopia. The event also saw the participation of several ambassadors, council leaders, prominent figures in the Islamic community, mission members, and journalists.
