New Delhi, March 29, 2024, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance hosted an iftar gathering on Thursday at the Abu Bakr As-Siddiq Mosque in New Delhi, affiliated with the Abul Kalam Azad Center for Islamic Awareness. This event was organized as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Gift Program for Iftar meals, which the ministry administers throughout the sacred month of Ramadan.
Distinguished guests including professors from Jamia Islamia Sanabil and leaders of Islamic associations and centers graced the occasion, with the attendance of over 1,000 individuals from the local community.
Sheikh Mohamed Abd Al-Hameed Al-Rahmani, the head of the Abul Kalam Azad Center for Islamic Awareness, conveyed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for spearheading these Ramadan initiatives. He underscored the significance of such programs in aiding Muslims during their fasts and in their devotional practices, as well as in advancing resources that contribute to the enrichment of Islam and its followers.
