Java, October 30, 2023, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance recently hosted the closing ceremony of the Holy Quran competition in Indonesia. This event, organized in collaboration with the State Islamic Institute of Surakarta, featured 60 contestants from 53 religious institutions who vied for top honors in the final qualifiers. In the end, 18 contestants were recognized with various prizes.
The ceremony drew the presence of esteemed figures, including Religious Attaché Ahmed Al-Hazmi from the Kingdom's embassy in Indonesia, as well as numerous military and civilian officials, and representatives of Islamic institutions.
This competition stands as a significant component of the broader religious and cultural initiatives spearheaded by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, in close coordination with Saudi embassies worldwide, reflecting Saudi Arabia's commitment to promoting Islamic culture and education on a global scale.
