Riyadh, November 12, 2024 – The Ministry of Culture has launched the Child's Culture digital platform, a vibrant new online resource designed to ignite young Saudis’ curiosity about their nation’s rich cultural heritage. Accessible at https://www.moc.gov.sa/en/Modules/Pages/Child-Culture, this platform offers a diverse array of interactive and educational content that brings Saudi Arabia’s historical landmarks, influential figures, and artistic traditions to life for the younger generation.

The platform invites children to explore various captivating sections that spotlight the Kingdom’s cultural treasures. "Cultural Monuments" highlights iconic heritage sites, allowing young learners to virtually visit important landmarks, while "Cultural Luminaries" introduces them to celebrated Saudi figures whose contributions have shaped the nation’s identity. Meanwhile, the "Cultural Recommendation" section offers weekly updates on events, exhibits, and activities that showcase the country’s vibrant cultural landscape, keeping young audiences engaged with fresh experiences.

Adding a playful element, the "Puzzle Game" section allows children to assemble parts of traditional paintings from different regions. With each completed puzzle, children reveal a masterpiece, merging education with entertainment in a way that deepens their appreciation for Saudi art.

For auditory learners, the platform features "Podcast Tawela," which presents stories and cultural insights tailored to capture young imaginations. The podcast’s engaging episodes offer a creative medium for children to explore Saudi culture through a format that appeals to their sense of curiosity and wonder.

The Child’s Culture platform also includes a variety of activities designed to nurture children’s creative and cultural talents. For example, "Be Creative with Your Handwriting with Arabic Poetry" offers handwriting lessons with a cultural twist, encouraging children to practice Arabic calligraphy through verses of classic poetry. "Let’s Discover Culture Together" provides an interactive coloring book that introduces children to cultural symbols and concepts, while "The Little Writer" guides young learners in creative writing and composition, helping them develop their voice and storytelling skills.

This initiative is part of the Ministry of Culture’s wider commitment to fostering national pride and building a strong sense of cultural identity among Saudi youth. By providing an accessible and engaging gateway to cultural learning, the platform seeks to instill a lifelong appreciation for Saudi heritage. Through its dynamic and interactive content, the Child’s Culture platform not only educates young Saudis about their cultural roots but also encourages skill development, creativity, and a deep connection to their national identity.
