Riyadh, January 19, 2024, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawa, and Guidance has reported a significant influx of individuals embracing Islam over the past five years. Through the dedicated efforts of 423 foreign preachers and 457 Dawah societies situated across various regions of the Kingdom, a total of 347,646 men and women have converted to Islam.
According to the ministry's released report, the trend of individuals converting to Islam has demonstrated a steady increase over the specified period. In 2019, there were 21,654 new converts, followed by 41,441 in 2020, 27,333 in 2021, 93,899 in 2022, and an impressive 163,319 in the year 2023.
These remarkable achievements reflect the ongoing commitment of the ministry to extend invitations to non-Muslims, providing them with opportunities to learn about Islam, understand its tolerant values, and dispel any doubts or misconceptions surrounding the religion. The presence of foreign preachers and Dawah societies in various regions of the Kingdom plays a pivotal role in facilitating this outreach and fostering a deeper understanding of Islam among diverse communities.
