Jeddah, March 18, 2025 – In a significant move to support the welfare of vulnerable families during the holy month of Ramadan, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has issued a directive to allocate over SAR 3 billion in Ramadan aid for social security beneficiaries. This generous initiative, which was approved following the proposal of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, aims to address the essential needs of beneficiary families, ensuring they are supported during this special time.

The Ramadan aid package includes a payment of SAR 1,000 for the head of each household, along with SAR 500 for every dependent. These funds will be directly deposited into the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries today, Tuesday, coinciding with Ramadan 18. The initiative not only demonstrates the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to the well-being of its citizens but also ensures that families can meet their basic needs, particularly during the fasting month of Ramadan.

This remarkable gesture aligns with the broader vision of the Kingdom’s leadership, highlighting the ongoing efforts of both King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to enhance the quality of life for vulnerable populations. Their leadership continues to focus on elevating the living standards of those in need, particularly through timely and compassionate interventions that make a tangible difference in the lives of citizens.

Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmed Al-Rajhi, expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to supporting citizens, ensuring that all individuals can live with dignity and security. Al-Rajhi also emphasized that the Ramadan aid package is a powerful reflection of the Kingdom’s leadership’s dedication to improving the social welfare of its people, especially during the holy month of Ramadan when the need for assistance is particularly significant.

This generous initiative is another example of the Kingdom’s proactive approach to addressing social issues, reinforcing the importance of community support and the solidarity that binds the nation together, particularly in times of need.
