Makkah, March 8, 2025 – The Hajj and Umrah Charity Association (Hadiyah) has launched its annual Ramadan iftar meal distribution program, providing essential support to Umrah performers and visitors in the holy cities. The initiative, which covers key locations including Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah airport, land border crossings, the Grand Mosque, the Prophet’s Mosque, car parks, and major pilgrim routes, is part of the association’s ongoing commitment to serving worshippers during the sacred month of Ramadan.
This year, Hadiyah aims to distribute more than two million iftar meals in collaboration with various governmental and charitable entities. The program is designed to ensure that fasting individuals, particularly those undertaking the spiritual journey of Umrah, have access to nutritious meals at designated distribution points. The initiative also reflects the Kingdom’s broader efforts to enhance the experience of pilgrims and visitors by providing essential services during peak religious seasons.
Hadiyah, established in Makkah in 2009, operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and is officially registered with the National Center for the Non-Profit Sector. Over the years, the association has played a significant role in serving pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors, having provided assistance to more than 225 million people since its inception. Through initiatives like the Ramadan iftar program, Hadiyah continues to uphold its mission of facilitating the pilgrimage experience and extending hospitality to those visiting the Two Holy Mosques.
