Abha, February 19, 2024, Saudi athlete Muhammad bin Ali Al-Asiri clinched the top spot and secured the gold medal in the recently concluded 2024 Sharjah International Paragliding Championship. The event, held in collaboration with the Sharjah Sports Council by the Emirates Aerosports Federation (EAF) in the United Arab Emirates, saw Al-Asiri dominate the competition with an impressive total of 28 points, establishing his prowess in the sport.
Al-Asiri's victory in Sharjah adds to his growing list of accolades, which includes previous achievements such as silver and bronze medals in the World Cup Championship held in Kazakhstan, as well as a bronze medal in the European Cup Championship in Slovenia. His consistent success highlights his skill and dedication in the field of paragliding.
