Makkah, November 19, 2023, The Muslim World League (MWL) has issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces following the brutal bombing of UNRWA's Al-Fakhoora School in the Gaza Strip. In an official statement released by the MWL General Secretariat, Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced the attack on behalf of the league's academies, bodies, and global councils.
The statement characterized the bombing as a horrific assault on civilians and civilian facilities, emphasizing that it represents a clear violation of international and humanitarian laws. Dr. Al-Issa called for immediate action from the international community to address the catastrophic humanitarian situation unfolding in the Palestinian territories. He urged swift measures to halt these crimes against innocent civilians and emphasized the need to hold the perpetrators accountable in accordance with international law.
