Makkah, March 31, 2025 – The Republic of Albania hosted the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and President of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, to deliver the Eid Al-Fitr sermon at the Grand Mosque of Tirana, the largest mosque in the country and the Balkans, in the presence of Albanian scholars.
Dr. Al-Issa opened the sermon by congratulating Muslims on Eid Al-Fitr, emphasizing it as a day of joy, a time to uphold Islamic values, strengthen faith, and reinforce brotherhood.
He also underscored the importance of forgiveness and harmony, noting that this noble Islamic principle applies to all, both Muslims and non-Muslims. Additionally, he highlighted the family as the foundation of every nation, serving as its core and safeguard, while stressing the vital role of women in building and strengthening the family unit.
