June 21, 2024, Makkah. The National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC) has released the results of the second stage of its operations plan for the 1445 Hajj. Over 644 possible noise locations were found when the National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC) evaluated the quality of 64 environmental soil and water samples that had a direct impact on pilgrims. We also assessed the samples' quality. The study found a very high level of adherence to environmental regulations. The facility's Hajj Operations Room is supervised by Engineer Mohammed Ammar, who highlights the proactive approach taken by the facility to address environmental concerns.

The center's diligent field teams promptly identified and resolved approximately 450 issues. The center successfully utilized the environmental system against those who violated the rules, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship. Additionally, the center handled 66 environmental reports submitted through Environmental Reports Line No. 998 in a prompt and efficient manner during this stage. In addition, Eng. Ammar mentioned that since the beginning of the Hajj season, the center has distributed ninety public bulletins on air quality indicators in Makkah, the Holy Sites, and Madinah. The bulletins met international quality standards, and the relevant authorities received complete reports to ensure the air quality remained at the highest possible level.
